Task 3 :An explanation of the scrum framework

 

Jeff Sutherland 1 May 2012 said "Scrum  is a framework in which the team solves complex problems and comes up with productive & innovative solutions that are of the highest possible quality. It is a framework that assists the smooth & productive way to deliver end products & helps in building agile principles."

Product owner
 
Define the features of the product.
Decide on release date and content.
Prioritize features according to market value.
Accept or reject work results.
 
Scrum Master
 
Represents management to the project.
Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices
Removes impediments
Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive
 
Team
 
Teams are self organizing.
Membership should change only between sprints.

Sprint planning
Team selects items from the product backlog they can commit to completing.
 
sprint review
Team presents what it accomplished during the sprint.
 
sprint  retrospective
 Periodically take a look at what is and is not working.
 
Daily scrum meeting
 
The scrum master moderates it, and it lasts approximately 15 minutes. Throughout Daily Scrum, team members will talk about tasks completed the day before, tasks planned for the next day, and problems discovered during a sprint. Throughout the daily stand-up meeting, the team's progress is monitored.

Product backlog
The requirements.
A list of all desired work on the project.
Reprioritized at the start of each sprint.
 
Sprint backlog
A cross-functional product team chooses a list of items from its product backlog to work on during the following sprint, which is known as a sprint backlog.
 
Burndown charts
 
A burndown chart shows the overall progress of the work that is being done and the work that has been completed throughout the process. It uses a graph to show the traits and unfinished storylines.
